IMPORTANT: Google and Yahoo are making changes in 2024 that can affect email deliverability. Email deliverability is crucial for the health of your email list. I STRONGLY recommend not using an email address that isn’t a professional domain because if you do you will be blocked (I use kristin@kristindronchi.com instead of kristindronchi@gmail.com, for example).I also strongly recommend to set up and configure your domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC) as soon as possible. To authenticate your domain for email delivery and to comply with changes implemented by Google and Yahoo, you should consider implementing Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC) and Sender Policy Framework (SPF) records. These authentication mechanisms help prevent email spoofing and phishing attacks, enhancing the security and trustworthiness of your emails.

Towards the end, I introduce a reflective exercise where I encourage you to jot down wins, losses, and lessons learned. It's all about discerning what stays and what we carry into the new year. I discussed my views on goal setting, highlighting that while it can be motivating and exciting, it can also lead to pressure and a lack of alignment with one's purpose if not done in conjunction with God's plan. I also remind you and  pointed out that our brains are wired for safety and familiarity, which can hinder us from reaching unfamiliar goals.
Godly Goal Setting: Biblical Principles Over Worldly Metrics
I also  discussed the concept of setting growth goals based on biblical principles, as opposed to worldly metrics. I emphasized that these goals should be measured by obedience to God's standards, not by earthly success; be attainable through the power and provision of the Lord; align with the divine plans and purposes of the Lord, not personal desires; and operate within God's timeline, not human timelines.

Farm Life and Business Lessons
I shared my  personal experience growing up on a farm and learning the value of hard work and discipline through preparing animals for the fair. I encountered a particular incident where I was dragged by a 2,000 pound steer, which taught me important lessons about obedience and letting go when in danger. I also highlighted the satisfaction of my hard work paying off at the fair when I secured second place in the showmanship category and my  steer came second in its class. I dove into how it compared to my online business today.

We stressed that dwelling on negative experiences, such as a failed launch, could lead to unfavorable results. I  also highlighted the importance of obedience to God's plan in one's life, as disobedience could lead to unwanted outcomes.

We talked about the importance of using wealth for good purposes, such as creating non-profits, rather than falling into the "evil agenda" of the world's elite. 
 
We also briefly talked about money mindset and the neutrality of money itself, arguing that its good or bad qualities depend on the person using it. I want to encourage you, Christian women business owners, to shift your mindset towards building wealth according to God's design and staying true to your calling. 
Wealth Creation and Stewardship Discussed
Wealth is to be created, shared and not hoarded, and that the creation of wealth has the power to lift people and nations out of poverty.   Stewardship is important and wealth creation requires intentionality and the right mindset.
Challenging Jesus's Poverty Perception
I also challenged the belief that Jesus was poor, arguing that his life was marked by significant wealth.  He received amazing gifts at birth, including gold, frankincense, and myrrh, which she estimated to be worth over a million dollars today.   
I noted that Roman soldiers gambled for his expensive undergarments, a sign of his wealth.  Not to mention that the donkey Mary and Joseph took on their travels was a mark of their wealth status as only the wealthy could afford such luxuries.
I would like to remind you to question conventional wisdom and use critical thinking skills to better understand the context of Jesus's time versus what you have been "taught throughout history".
