The Power of Faith and Authenticity in Copywriting with Krista Tressa
In the world of business, especially for Christian entrepreneurs, it can be easy to get caught up in the hustle and overlook one of the most important aspects of success: authenticity. How do you build a business that not only thrives but also reflects the values of your faith? Today’s episode of the Kingdom Revolution Podcast is essential for those of you who are seeking to deepen your connection with your audience and create a business that stands out for the right reasons.
We’re diving into the powerful intersection of faith and copywriting with Krista Tressa, a Christ-centered CEO and Chief Copywriting Officer at Caring Messenger Copywriting. Krista’s mission is to help small businesses connect authentically with their audiences through emotionally intelligent, purpose-driven messaging that not only elevates profits but also advances the Kingdom of God. If you’ve ever wondered how to blend your faith with your business in a meaningful way, this episode is packed with wisdom and insight that you don’t want to miss.
From Pharmacist to Entrepreneur: A God-Driven Journey
Krista’s story is one of divine orchestration. Originally trained as a pharmacist and later a high school tech ed teacher, Krista’s career path took an unexpected turn into copywriting. As she reflects, it’s clear that this shift was guided by God. “It’s a God thing,” Krista says.
“Writing’s always been a passion of mine. I didn’t realize that I could help my family financially with it.” Over time, God used her past experiences to fuel her new career, leading her to empower kingdom builders and Christian entrepreneurs through her copywriting services.
Her journey into entrepreneurship, which she now sees as part of her ministry, is a testimony to God’s timing. Krista helps businesses communicate their heart and values through impactful messaging, believing that copywriting is not just a skill—it’s a ministry. “It’s really a God thing,” she emphasizes, acknowledging the role of faith in everything she does.
Copywriting: More Than Just Words
Krista explains copywriting as the art of using emotionally intelligent messaging to connect with an audience and inspire action. Whether selling a product or service, the goal is to emotionally engage potential customers so they’ll take the desired action, such as making a purchase or signing up for a service.
But copywriting is much more than just writing words; it involves storytelling, brand voice, and tapping into human emotions. Krista describes her approach as one driven by discernment and wisdom from the Holy Spirit. She has a unique ability to read between the lines and connect with people on a deeper level. This skill, she says, has helped her build a thriving business and make a positive impact on her clients.
She also shares a special moment when her children, especially her teenagers, ask her for help editing papers. “It’s heartwarming,” she says, “because I get to nurture that gift of writing while encouraging them in their own journey.”
Understanding Your Brand Voice: The Importance of a Tone Guide
One of the key aspects of Krista’s work is helping clients understand their brand voice and tone. For many entrepreneurs, especially in the early stages of their business, it can be challenging to express their unique message in a way that resonates with their ideal audience. This is where Krista’s expertise shines.
She explains, “Not everyone is gifted with tapping into the emotional side of messaging or knows how to share their story effectively. That’s where I come in.” Whether a client is unsure about their brand tone or needs help articulating their message, Krista works closely with them to refine their voice and create a tone guide. This guide serves as a foundation for all marketing materials and ensures consistency as the business grows.
Krista also highlights the value of hiring a professional copywriter early in the process. “It’s so important to have someone who can draw that authentic message out of you,” she says. By enlisting an expert, entrepreneurs can build a stronger connection with their audience and stand out in the crowded online space.
The Role of AI in Copywriting: A Tool, Not a Replacement
In the age of artificial intelligence, many business owners turn to AI for content creation. But Krista warns against relying solely on AI for copywriting. While AI can be a useful tool for streamlining processes or analyzing data, it lacks the human touch that is essential for emotional engagement.
“AI is a tool, but it’s not meant to replace the human connection,” Krista explains. “Your clients will eventually figure out if you’re hiding behind AI. It’s artificial—it’s not real.”
What AI can’t replicate is the intuition, discernment, and Holy Spirit guidance that a Christ-centered copywriter brings to the table. Krista emphasizes that as kingdom entrepreneurs, it’s essential to infuse your faith into everything you do, including your messaging. When you do this, your audience will feel it. “It’s powerful when you bring Holy Spirit discernment into your copywriting,” she says.
Leading with Faith in Business
Krista’s business is not just about writing—it’s about ministry. She provides her clients with tools to communicate their message while staying true to their Christian values. Her freebie guide, which offers 20 action steps for growing spiritually and deepening your faith walk with Jesus, is just one example of how she combines business with ministry.
“It’s about more than just making a profit,” Krista shares. “I want my business to reflect the values of the kingdom and help others grow in their faith, too. If you use the steps I’ve shared in my free guide, I guarantee you’ll experience transformation.”
The Bottom Line: Authenticity is Key
As a copywriter, Krista’s passion lies in helping businesses connect authentically with their audience. Whether through carefully crafted messaging, brand tone guides, or writing services, she ensures that each client’s message is aligned with their mission and values. In an online world dominated by noise, authenticity and emotional intelligence are the key to standing out and building meaningful connections.
For those looking to grow their businesses while staying true to their Christian faith, Krista is a valuable resource. Her services are a testament to the power of integrating faith with entrepreneurship and using your gifts to serve others.
As I always tell you: “We were created for such a time as this. We are called to use our businesses to make a kingdom impact.”

The #1 Lead Magnet Mistake Christian Women in Online Business Make
Is your free lead magnet secretly sabotaging your sales? Discover why most Christian Women Entrepreneurs are making a critical mistake with their email list strategy.
The Lead Magnet Mistake That's Costing You Sales
You've done everything "right." You created that free PDF guide, checklist, or resource. You've promoted it on social media. You've participated in bundles and summits. Your email list has grown impressively, and your open rates look decent. People even compliment your content.
But when you finally launch your offer... crickets.
If this sounds familiar, you're experiencing what I call the invisible gap – a critical mistake that many Christian women entrepreneurs make when building their email list.
The Core Problem: Your Freebie Doesn't Create Desire for Your Offer
The fundamental issue isn't that you have a lead magnet or that you're building an email list. The problem is that your freebie doesn't strategically align with your paid offer, creating a disconnect in your customer journey.
Most entrepreneurs experience marketing funnels from left to right:
See content or ad
Opt in for freebie
Join email list
Attend webinar/challenge
Consider paid offer
So naturally, they create their funnel in that same order. They start by making a lead magnet, then figure out what to sell later.
This approach creates a fatal flaw: building a bridge that leads nowhere.
The Counterintuitive Approach: Start with the End in Mind
Successful online marketers take a completely different approach. They work backwards, not forwards:
Define your paid offer first - Get absolute clarity on what transformation you provide
Map your signature framework - Outline exactly how you help your ideal clients
Extract a strategic piece - Create a lead magnet that naturally sets up desire for your offer
When you start with your offer first, your entire funnel becomes strategically aligned. Your lead magnet doesn't just build your list – it begins the sales process by attracting the right people and creating demand for your solution.
The Two-Question Framework for Converting Lead Magnets
To create a lead magnet that effectively bridges to your paid offer, ask these two critical questions:
What specific, tangible outcome does your offer provide? (Focus on external, visible results)
Instead of "Improve your YouTube marketing"
Try "Get your first YouTube video ranked at the top of YouTube search"
What does that give them? (Ask repeatedly to uncover deeper emotional benefits)
More exposure
More leads and sales
More money
More freedom and time with family
These questions help you define both the external and internal outcomes of your offer, allowing you to create a lead magnet that speaks directly to these desires.
Common Lead Magnet Mistakes to Avoid
1. Duct-Taping Your Business Together
Creating a lead magnet without knowing what you're selling next leaves you constantly starting and stopping, trying to figure out the next step.
2. Choosing Unrelated Lead Magnet Topics
If your lead magnet doesn't connect logically to your offer, you'll attract the wrong subscribers. Example: A YouTube course with a lead magnet about building an email list.
3. Working in the Wrong Direction
Experiencing funnels from left to right, then creating yours the same way, leads to misalignment and poor results.
The Consequences of Getting This Wrong
When your lead magnet doesn't align with your offer, you'll experience:
Large email list but few buyers
Wasted effort on content that doesn't generate sales
Endless content creation trying to warm up the wrong audience
Constant frustration and underwhelming launches
The Solution: Map Your Customer Journey Backwards
Smart Kingdom entrepreneurs work backwards:
Start with YOU by God's design (extract your unique blueprint)
Define your offer with absolute clarity
Map your customer journey toward that paid offer
Create a lead magnet that bridges the gap
Your lead magnet should be the first step of your sales funnel, not a separate list-building activity. Think of it as the perfect first step in your client's transformation journey.
Ready to Fix Your Lead Magnet Strategy?
If you're ready to stop duct-taping your business together and create a strategic funnel that actually converts, you need to:
Get clarity on your offer
Define your "B to Y" (the bridge that takes clients from their current situation to their desired outcome)
Create a lead magnet that creates genuine demand for your solution
Remember: If your lead magnet doesn't create desire for your offer and move your ideal client closer to saying yes, it's not serving its purpose.

Amplify Your Kingdom Message: The Power of Podcast Guesting with Sabrina Hammonds
Are you a Kingdom woman in online business looking to expand your reach and impact? What if the key to amplifying your God-given message lies not in chasing social media algorithms, but in authentic conversations that reach deeply engaged listeners?
In a recent episode of the Kingdom Revolution podcast, I had the privilege of speaking with Sabrina Hammonds, founder of Kingdom Connections Podcast and Media Agency. Sabrina helps transformational leaders amplify their message and connect with their ideal audience through strategic podcast guesting.
How Podcast Guesting Can Transform Your Kingdom Business
Sabrina’s journey into podcast guesting began unexpectedly. With no intention of starting a business and no knowledge of what a podcast was, she found herself offering to help someone share their powerful testimony. “I had no idea what I was offering to do for this woman,” Sabrina recalls. “And she says, ‘Yeah, I’m supposed to be speaking. The Lord’s already told me that. Let’s do it.'”
This led to what Sabrina describes as “building the plane as you go” business model, where she discovered podcast guesting as an effective way to help her clients share their message.
“Never discount yourself or count yourself out from doing what you feel like God is leading you to simply because you don’t know. It’s okay. He knows and that’s enough.”
Getting Started with Podcast Guesting
If you’re interested in trying podcast guesting, Sabrina recommends starting in communities where people are looking for collaboration partners. Here’s a simple approach:
Join communities (like Kristen’s) where podcast hosts gather
Share that you’re passionate about your topic and looking for opportunities to add value
When someone responds with their podcast, listen to 2-3 episodes to understand their message and audience
Reach out authentically: “I listened to your podcast. I listened to this episode. I totally relate and resonate with what you shared. I think I could really add value to your audience because this is what I’m passionate about sharing.”
Remember, podcast hosts are looking for guests who can fill in gaps and solve problems their audience is experiencing.
Quality Over Quantity: The Power of One Connection
Sabrina emphasizes that podcast guesting isn’t about the number of shows you appear on, but the quality of connections you make. She shared how one strategic connection with Nadine Mullings has created multiplication in her business and for her clients.
“God is a God of relationships. Through this one connection, there has been such multiplication in my business and in the business and connections for my clients—I can’t even tell you how much, it’s almost too much to count.”
This approach aligns with Kingdom principles. We’re not doing business the world’s way, focused solely on numbers, but the Lord’s way, where He can multiply the impact of even one appearance.
Common Mistakes to Avoid When Pitching Yourself as a Guest
Sabrina highlighted four common pitfalls to avoid:
Lack of research: Don’t mass-pitch to podcasts without thoroughly understanding their message and audience. “Spirituality doesn’t mean the same thing to everybody,” Sabrina warns.
Self-focused pitching: Focus on how you can add value to the host’s audience rather than listing your own accomplishments.
Giving up after one attempt: Many podcasts receive numerous pitches daily. Follow up if you don’t hear back initially.
Trying to fit in: Understand and confidently communicate the unique value you bring. “We’re not supposed to figure out how we can fit, but really understand our value and share that with the podcast host.”

Why Social Media Is Failing Us and 3 Things That Need To Be Working Together In Your Online Business
Are you tired of being a slave to social media for your online business growth? You're not alone. As Christian women in business, we're called to make an impact while building profitable, sustainable enterprises by God's design. But the old lead generation tactics—especially social media—simply aren't working anymore in 2025.
Why Social Media Is Failing Us
Remember that old commercial that said, "This is your brain, this is drugs, this is your brain on drugs"? Think of that as "This is your brain, this is social media, this is your brain on social media."
Social media platforms are purposely designed to be addictive. They release quick hits of dopamine that give us snapshots of happiness, and the more we seek it out, the more dopamine gets released. This addiction leads to doom scrolling for hours when we only meant to check our engagement or make a post.
As business owners, this addiction can leave us:
Burnt out
Questioning our calling
Wondering, "Lord, did I even hear you right?"
I've been there. I was spending too much time being a slave to social media, trying to show up in Facebook groups and add value, but it wasn't working. That's when I realized that social media is not a business growth plan.
The Three-Point Customer Lifecycle
There are three essential components that need to be working in your online business to make it successful, profitable, and sustainable:
1. Lead Generation
This is the entry point where new people discover you. The outdated lead generation strategies are not working in 2025 and beyond, specifically social media. We need smarter approaches to bringing quality leads into our world.
In 2022, I hosted my first virtual event that led to 656 new amazing women on my email list. This led to a sold-out one-on-one coaching program for the rest of that year and catapulted me into a membership and group coaching program.
2. Nurture Phase
Building relationships with your audience is just as important as lead generation. Your nurture strategy should be unique to you and your business—we're not building cookie-cutter businesses here. We're following God's blueprint for our specific calling.
This isn't just about nurturing through your email list. It's about implementing strategies that get you in front of your people to increase and strengthen that know, like, and trust factor.
We're currently in a trust recession. Too many people have been burned by coaches and mentors who over-promise and under-deliver. Many potential clients tell me they've invested so much in coaches or programs and are still trying to pay it off because they didn't get the promised results.
Often, these coaches are teaching outdated strategies:
Adding value in countless Facebook groups until you're blue in the face
Sending "hey girl" messages
Running Facebook ads prematurely (before your messaging is clear)
Implementing slow growth organic strategies when you need momentum
3. Sales Conversion
This is where you convert those relationships into paying clients. While you can show up and add value, the real transformation happens at the time of transaction. Solving 100% of your clients' problems happens on the other side of that paid wall.
Moving Forward Without Social Media
All three of these components need to work together like a well-oiled machine in your online business:
Lead generation brings in new leads
Nurturing establishes deep relationships with them
Sales conversion leads them to your paid offer where transformation happens
Now is your "for such a time as this" moment. God is calling bold kingdom women into the online business space to have profitable businesses that not only help the people you're called to serve but also create kingdom wealth so you can give more, bless more, and change broken systems.

Becoming Wealth Blessed With Author Elizabeth Brickman
In this powerful episode of the Kingdom Revolution Podcast, host Kristin Dronchi welcomes Elizabeth Brickman, author of "Wealth Blessed: Why Good People Lose Everything and Why You Don't Have To." Elizabeth shares her remarkable journey and insights on developing a healthy, biblical relationship with money and wealth.
From Wealth to Poverty and Back Again
Elizabeth Brickman's journey with money began in childhood abundance. Born into a wealthy family, she experienced financial security until age nine when her family lost everything. "First we lost the housekeeper, and then we lost the house. And all the contents," Elizabeth recalls.
This dramatic shift from comfort to struggle planted a seed in Elizabeth—not for wealth itself, but for financial security. She developed a passion "to not ever be so at risk or to lose everything."
What makes Elizabeth's perspective unique is that, unlike many success stories we typically hear, hers begins with wealth, transitions through loss, and returns to abundance with a transformed relationship to money. Her experience provides a rare and valuable lens through which to view our own financial journeys.
Money: Neither to Love Nor to Hate
One of the most powerful insights Elizabeth shares is her balanced view of wealth. She challenges the notion that holiness requires financial struggle: "We're not allowed to love money, but we don't need to prove our holiness by hating money."
Elizabeth explains that rejecting opportunities to use our God-given gifts (Ephesians 2:10) prevents us from stewarding what God has ordained for us. She poses an important question: "If Christians all decide it sounds holier to be poor, eventually all the wealth will go into the hands of unbelievers. Will those unbelievers support our churches, our ministries? They will not."
Instead, Elizabeth advocates for a middle path: "We're not going to love money. We're not going to hate money. We're going to use money as the tool, God's tool to live our fullest life in Him and to help prosper the church, ministries, kingdom causes."
Preparing for Wealth Before It Comes
Perhaps the most counter-cultural concept Elizabeth introduces is the importance of preparing ourselves for wealth before it arrives. She uses a powerful analogy: "You would never give a lobster to a baby, not because the lobster is bad, but the baby couldn't handle it."
Similarly, Elizabeth suggests that God, as our loving Father, may withhold financial abundance until we're prepared to handle it wisely. When wealth comes to the unprepared—whether through business success, inheritance, or other means—it can become destructive:
"The money intended to answer our prayer becomes the tempter of our sin."
"The money intended to strengthen our relationships becomes the issue that spoils those relationships."
"The money intended to heal our past can end up becoming a billboard that advertises our shame."
Elizabeth emphasizes that being "wealth blessed" isn't about net worth—it's about "net trust" and preparation. It involves equipping ourselves spiritually and emotionally to handle abundance before it arrives.
God's Financial Therapy: Healing Your Money Wounds
At the heart of Elizabeth's message is the concept of "God's financial therapy"—a process of identifying and healing the wounds that shape our unhealthy financial behaviors.
"Most of us, if not all of us, carry wounds from our life," Elizabeth explains. These wounds might come from childhood experiences, a teacher's comment, or even innocent parental actions misunderstood by a child.
The danger comes when these unresolved wounds drive our financial decisions: "Instead of money expressing our godly values, which we do have, the money ends up expressing the wounds." Elizabeth has identified nine common "pain points" where people misuse money to punish, prove, or please others in unhealthy ways.
The solution? "We need to take our wounds, examine our own hearts, bring those to the altar and ask God for His financial therapy."
Elizabeth shares that God's financial therapy works in three dimensions:
Healing your past (childhood wounds)
Healing your present (current financial struggles)
Healing your future (preparing for prosperity)
Common Money Wounds and Their Solutions
Elizabeth highlights several common financial wounds that can sabotage our relationship with money:
1. The Wound of a Poor Childhood
Risk: Merging past, present, and future into one limiting financial identity ("It will never work for me") Solution: "Lord, I know my soul is my most important asset. I am rich in Christ. I have come far and I am going far."
2. The Wound of Past Mistakes
Risk: Becoming judge and jury of ourselves, wearing past mistakes like a permanent badge Solution: Seeking forgiveness from God rather than carrying unending guilt
3. The Wound of Shame
Risk: Making financial decisions based on "bad intel" filtered through shame Solution: Replacing shame with God's truth: "If I am loved by God, who can unsettle me by not loving me?"
4. The Wound of Sadness
Risk: Turning to spending ("retail therapy") to relieve emotional pain Solution: Awareness of the pattern and addressing the root cause rather than seeking temporary comfort
The Mother Lode of Happiness: Generosity
Elizabeth's ultimate discovery through her journey was finding "the mother lode of happiness, which comes through generosity." Her desire to share these principles through her book stems from wanting to extend the impact of generosity beyond her own lifetime.
She shares a beautiful vision: "Imagine if one day the Lord says to me, 'You know what? Tens of millions of dollars were sent to kingdom causes because you empowered readers to thrive financially in me.'"
Your Financial Journey Continues
Elizabeth's message to Kingdom entrepreneurs resonates with hope: "Where you are today is not where you will be later."
She encourages believers to find wisdom about money not from secular sources but from God's Word: "You don't have to know about money. You only have to know about what God says about money."

With a background in healthcare and a passion for scientific research, Stacy brings a unique approach to coaching. She focuses on subconscious techniques to help her clients overcome limiting beliefs, release trauma (both individual and generational), and eliminate disruptive habits.
The Challenge: How to Grow Your Email List Without Social Media
Like many coaches just starting their business, Stacy faced a common obstacle: growing her email list. However, she had an additional challenge—she didn't want to rely on social media.
"I don't hate social media," Stacy explains, "but it stressed me out when I thought about growing a business where I had to be tied to my phone all the time and had to post 15 times at specific times of day. I just couldn't do it."
Before discovering an alternative approach, Stacy's email list consisted of just three subscribers (actually only two people, as one person had signed up with both their personal and business email).
The Solution: Kingdom Collaborations and Bundle Events
Stacy's journey began when she participated in a bundle about growing a business without social media. Through this event, she connected with bundle host Kristen and discovered the power of collaboration-based marketing.
After participating as a contributor in Kristin's bundle, Stacy's email list grew from 3 to 37 subscribers—a significant milestone for her at the time. This success inspired her to join Kristen's "Bundles with Impact" program to learn how to host her own bundle event.
The Results: 400% Growth in 30 Days
With the guidance of the Bundles with Impact program, Stacy launched her own bundle event in just 30 days:
She recruited 30 contributors
Her email list grew from 37 to 187 subscribers—a 400% increase
She maintained a low unsubscribe rate, losing only 30 people after the event
What impressed Stacy most was how smoothly everything ran: "By the time I made it to the actual bundle live for that week, I felt kind of like I was missing something because everything was running on autopilot and I didn't have to do anything."
Why Bundles Help Grow Your Email List Without Social Media Faster
Bundle events create a win-win situation for everyone involved:
Warm leads: Unlike paid ads that bring in cold traffic, bundles connect you with audiences who already trust the contributors
Collaborative growth: "Everybody's kind of working together. I'm sharing my email list with you. You're sharing your email list with me."
Faster results: Stacy achieved in 30 days what might have taken years through organic social media growth
Is This Approach Right for You?
If you're wondering whether you could implement this strategy, Stacy addresses common concerns:
"I'm not tech-savvy"
"I am probably the least techie person known to man. I somehow shut my keyboard off on my computer earlier today. I couldn't figure out how to turn it back on... The way that the course is outlined with the modules... they were easy to digest... I just did exactly as [instructed]. I didn't try to deviate, I didn't try to do anything, and it went really well."
"I don't have time"
"I work outside of the house for 12-hour days a couple of days a week. And then I come home on the other days and I'm homeschooling my kids and running them to things. Oh, yeah. And I also have a husband and a house and all that kind of stuff. So if I can do this in early morning hours, like I think I did maybe like two mornings a week, a couple hours here and there, and then just kind of going in and out when I had to... it's definitely 100 percent doable."
What's Next for Stacy?
After her success with the bundle event, Stacy is now preparing to host a summit in March, further expanding her reach without relying on social media marketing.
Her story proves that you don't need to be constantly active on social platforms to build a successful online coaching business—there are alternative strategies that can deliver impressive results while aligning with your lifestyle and values.

Kingdom Revolution Podcast: From Time Management to Time Stewardship with Lissa Figgins
Episode Overview
In this episode of Kingdom Revolution, host Kristin welcomes Lissa Figgins, an "untime management strategist" who shares her transformative approach to time for Christian women entrepreneurs. Lissa reveals how shifting from managing time to stewarding it as a gift from God can lead to greater peace, productivity, and purpose in both life and business.
About Our Guest
Lissa Figgins describes herself as a "recovering busyness owner" who once relied on traditional time management techniques to run her business. After receiving a stress-related health diagnosis (hystericus globus), she began a journey to discover God's perspective on time, which completely transformed how she approaches her business and helps other Christian women entrepreneurs.
Key Takeaways
The Problem with Traditional Time Management
Time management often leads to "busyness" rather than productivity
Many business owners feel busy but don't see meaningful results
Constantly chasing calendars, checklists, and time blocks creates stress
The Biblical Concept of "Redeeming Time"
Based on Ephesians 5:15-16: "Look carefully how you live, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time..."
Not about squeezing more into your day, but making the most of opportunities
Having an eternal perspective on how you spend your time
Three Essential Shifts for Christian Women Entrepreneurs
1. Shift Your Belief About Time
Replace "I don't have time" with "I have time"
Trust that God has given you enough time for what He's called you to do
Stop the self-fulfilling prophecy of time scarcity
2. Shift Your Role: From Manager to Steward
Management = control and containment (exhausting "whack-a-mole")
Stewardship = investing resources on behalf of the owner (God)
Like the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30)
3. Shift Your Questions About Time
Instead of always asking "What time is it?" (which leads to panic)
Start asking "What is it time for?" (which leads to purpose)
Focus on "purposeivity" rather than productivity
The With-God Framework
Stop leaving God "on the couch" after morning devotions
Based on Matthew 6:33: "Seek first the kingdom of God..."
Regular meetings with God about your business decisions
Four Mistakes "Busyness Owners" Make
Not slowing down (constantly doing, doing, doing)
Lacking clear boundaries (reacting to the "tyranny of the urgent")
Random actions (doing random things at random times for random results)
Being too heads-down (not looking ahead strategically)
Return on Time Invested (ROTI)
Evaluating where your time goes and what results it produces
Just as important as evaluating financial investments
The ultimate ROTI is kingdom impact
The CEO Approach (Christ-Empowered Operator)
CEO Belief: Starting with daily meeting with God
CEO Schedules: Setting boundaries around priorities (oranges before Skittles)
CEO Systems: Creating intentional systems that move the needle
CEO Strategies: Looking ahead with vision
Success Story
Lissa shared the story of her client Christy, who reduced her business hours from 50 per week to less than 10 while increasing her income, all by implementing these principles of biblical time stewardship.

Lissa offers listeners her "Redeem Her Time Balance Assessment" - a simple tool to visually see where you're currently investing your time across eight key life areas. Get it at redeemhertime.com/assessment.
Quotable Moments
"I had an ordered calendar, ordered checklists, all the time blocks lined up. The problem was I didn't have a rightly ordered heart." - Lissa Figgins
"Order determines capacity." - Lissa Figgins on prioritizing what matters
"You have time." - Lissa's powerful three-word reminder
"We spent all day long trying to keep everything under control. It's a constant game of whack-a-mole. You will never win."
"I want to be mindful of the fact that one day I'm going to stand in front of the Lord. And how does that affect how I spend my time today?"

The 4 Divine Weapons for Christian Business Success
As Kingdom entrepreneurs, we're called to the business battlefield not just to create profit, but to make an eternal impact. We're positioned "for such a time as this" to use our God-given talents and businesses to fight spiritual battles and create lasting change.
But too many Christian business owners find themselves struggling year after year, trying to piece together strategies from free webinars and low-cost courses while never truly stepping into the divine calling God has for them.
In today's post, I want to share the four powerful weapons God has given you for success on the business battlefield – tools that go far beyond typical business strategies to help you create a profitable business aligned with God's purpose.
Are you ready to step into your "for such a time as this" moment with confidence? I'd love to help you develop your blueprint for kingdom business success.

The Importance of Divine Investment
Before we dive into the weapons themselves, let's acknowledge a powerful truth: As soon as we invest, we level up.
When we take that step of faith to invest in our businesses – whether through education, mentorship, or tools – something supernatural happens. Doors open. Opportunities arise. God blesses our obedience in ways we never could have imagined.
But too often, we hold on tightly, trying to do everything ourselves. We grip our resources, our time, and our control so firmly that we leave no room for God to work. The moment we release our grip and say, "Lord, help me, bring me a guide, a mentor," our hands open to receive what He has for us.
Weapon #1: Your Business
Your online business itself is a powerful weapon in God's kingdom. It's not just a way to make money – it's the vehicle God uses to reach people who need what only you can provide.
Think about this: God could have chosen any way to solve the problems your ideal clients face. He could miraculously remove their challenges with a word. Instead, He chose to work through you and your business to bring transformation.
Your business creates kingdom wealth that allows you to:
Give more and bless more
Build a team of like-minded believers
Support causes that matter to you
Change broken and corrupt systems
When you fully embrace your business as a spiritual weapon, you stop apologizing for charging what you're worth. You recognize that creating a profitable business is an act of obedience to what God has called you to do.
Weapon #2: Your Voice
The enemy tries desperately to silence your voice because he knows its power. Your voice is a divine weapon that:
Speaks your movement into existence
Shares your testimony (remember, we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony)
Declares God's promises, commands, and desires
Articulates your movement-based marketing message
Too many Christian entrepreneurs shrink back from using their voice boldly. They worry about what others might think or fear stepping on toes. But like Deborah in Scripture, we're called to arise and speak truth in a world that desperately needs it.
Your movement-based marketing message incorporates:
Your core values
Your convictions
Holy Spirit fire (both passion and righteous anger)
The eternal impact God wants you to create
God's why (which becomes your why)
When you align your voice with God's purposes, it becomes a powerful force for change – both in your business and in the world.
Weapon #3: Your Identity
Who you are in Christ is perhaps your most powerful weapon on the business battlefield. The enemy constantly attacks with questions like, "Who do you think you are to be doing this?" or "You could never be successful like her."
But when you know your true identity as a daughter of the King, anointed for business as ministry, these attacks lose their power.
Your identity weapon includes:
Your testimony and life experiences
Your spiritual gifts
Your divine calling and assignment
The Goliath you're specifically anointed to fight
What issue in today's world unnerves you more than any other? What gets you fired up to speak and act? That's often connected to the "giant" God has called you to fight through your business platform.
Just as David defeated Goliath with his own unique tools (not Saul's armor), you'll be most effective when you embrace exactly who God made you to be, rather than trying to imitate others.
Weapon #4: The Holy Spirit
The ultimate weapon in your arsenal is the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit. While business strategies and marketing tactics have their place, nothing can replace divine guidance.
The Holy Spirit provides:
Courage to face challenges
Wisdom for difficult decisions
Discernment in confusing situations
Power when your strength fails
When you tap into your movement and purpose, Holy Spirit-inspired courage follows naturally. You find yourself willing to stand up against naysayers and step boldly into uncomfortable spaces because you know Whose authority you come in.
Just as David reminded himself before facing Goliath, "I come to you in the name of the Lord Almighty," we must remember that our strength comes not from our own abilities but from God's faithfulness.
Your "For Such a Time as This" Moment
Like Esther in Scripture, you have been positioned at this specific moment in history to make an eternal impact. What is your "for such a time as this" in your business?
The problems your ideal clients face and the issues God has put on your heart demand a response. You can't turn away any more than Deborah could ignore the challenges facing Israel in her day.
As Christy Johnson wisely said, "We don't have to fear tomorrow because tomorrow fears us." The enemy fears you and what your obedience could accomplish. That's why he works so hard to prevent your success.
Taking Action
It's time to step boldly onto the business battlefield with these divine weapons at your disposal. Here are some action steps to consider:
Identify your "For Such a Time as This" moment: What specific impact is God calling you to make right now?
Name the Goliath you're called to fight: What issue or challenge are you uniquely positioned to address?
Develop your movement-based marketing message: How can you articulate your core values, convictions, and the eternal impact you're called to create?
Consider investing in mentorship: Is it time to release your grip on trying to do everything yourself and invest in someone who can help you go faster?
Use all four weapons together: How can you strategically deploy your business, voice, identity, and the Holy Spirit's power to create kingdom impact?
Remember, every giant you're called to tackle will fall. Your business and the idea God has given you are needed now more than ever. Position yourself on the front lines of your battlefield and watch what God will do through your obedience.
Are you ready to step into your "for such a time as this" moment with confidence? I'd love to help you develop your blueprint for kingdom business success.

Episode Summary:
This episode explores how Christian women entrepreneurs can break free from "default mode" thinking and embrace a more intentional, faith-driven approach to business.
The host introduces the Be Do Have framework as an alternative to the common "have, do, be" mindset that keeps many entrepreneurs stuck waiting for perfect conditions.
Key points covered:
The problem with "have, do, be" thinking: Waiting for external circumstances (money, time, confidence) before taking action
How the enemy uses this waiting pattern to keep entrepreneurs stuck in spiritual procrastination
Introduction to the Be Do Have framework: Acting from your future identity rather than current circumstances
Biblical examples of leaders like Moses, David, and Esther who stepped into their calling before feeling ready
A practical exercise for identifying limiting beliefs and rewriting personal success scripts
The Be-Do-Have Success Mindset
ACTION ITEM:
download the worksheet to complete after listening to this lesson!
Many Christian women entrepreneurs operate in default mode, waiting for the right time or circumstances before stepping into their calling. This mindset leads to inaction and delay. The Be-Do-Have framework offers a transformative approach, encouraging women to become the person God has called them to be now, take faith-filled action, and trust God with the results.
Key Points:
📍 The Default Mode of Waiting
Many women wait for more time, money, clarity, or confidence before taking action.
This “Have-Do-Be” mindset keeps them stuck in conditional living, waiting for external changes before stepping into their calling.
The enemy uses this delay to keep them in spiritual procrastination.
📍 The Power of Be-Do-Have
Instead of waiting, step into who God has called you to be now and act from that identity.
Ask: What would a seven-figure kingdom entrepreneur do? How would she think, act, and decide?
God calls people before they have everything figured out (e.g., Moses, David, Esther).
📍 Faith-Filled Action Over Perfection
Clarity comes from action, not waiting.
Unless God clearly tells you “no” or “wait,” move forward in obedience.
Success isn’t about knowing everything first—it’s about trusting God and stepping out in faith.
📍 Breaking Free from Limiting Beliefs
Identify ways you’ve been living in a Have-Do-Be mindset.
Challenge limiting beliefs like:
“Once I have more time, I’ll start my business.”
“Once I have more money, I’ll invest in my growth.”
“Once I get certified, I’ll start coaching.”
The blueprint for your calling is already inside you—you don’t need permission or perfect conditions.
📍 Live & Lead as Your Future Self Now
Make bold decisions as the successful woman God has called you to be.
Declare your identity in Christ and take aligned action daily.
Acting from faith-filled identity leads to breakthrough, impact, and kingdom wealth.
Action Step:
Write down one limiting belief that has kept you from taking action.
What are you waiting for to change before moving forward?
What future will this mindset create if you keep believing it?
Shift your perspective and take a step in faith today.
🔥 Step into your God-given calling now—your obedience leads to impact!
